Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information PlexBeam collects through its website (plexbeam.pages.dev) and service, and how we use it.
Information We Collect
Waitlist sign-up: When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address and your optional selections (which media server you run, which plan you're interested in). That's it.
Service usage (future): When the PlexBeam service launches, we will collect the minimum data needed to route transcode requests — your worker connection details and usage metrics. We will never access, store, or inspect the contents of your media files.
Automatic data: Our hosting provider (Cloudflare Pages) may collect standard web analytics data (page views, country-level location, device type). We do not run Google Analytics or Meta Pixel on this site.
How We Use Your Information
- To notify you when your early-access spot is ready (one email)
- To provision and operate your GPU worker when the service launches
- To improve the service based on aggregate usage patterns
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Your Media Stays Private
PlexBeam streams transcode jobs, not your media files. Your media library stays on your server. The GPU worker processes raw video frames in memory and returns the transcoded stream — it does not store, cache, or log media content.
Data Storage
Waitlist data is stored in Cloudflare Workers KV. We retain your email until you request removal or until we complete the early-access rollout, whichever comes first.
Security
All communication with plexbeam.pages.dev is encrypted via HTTPS. Waitlist data is stored in Cloudflare's infrastructure with encryption at rest. Worker-to-server communication will use TLS when the service launches.
Your Rights
You can request deletion of your waitlist data at any time by emailing us. We will remove your information within 30 days of your request.
Children's Privacy
PlexBeam is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy when the service launches. The current version is always available at this URL.
